Does the pursuit of happiness include play? We are surrounded by physically built environments, which are supported by concepts. Decisions are made daily and we are not invited to the meetings. "A Line" :

A Line is about possibilities and limitations. Starting at an intersection in Nob Hill (San Francisco), A Line follows the sidewalk's gridded cracks and improvises into those made over time by city inhabitants. Through Chinatown, North Beach and the Marina District, the multi-colored NuPastel line travels and meets a variety of people. Their stories and interaction also function as art. The choice to focus on commonalities and the richness in human multiplicity, undermines our constructing social divisions. This is a reason to draw A line.
